<div>Hello my name is Christina Smith &amp; I’m a mother of 4. On July 7th my perfectly healthy 17 year old went to bed and didn’t wake up on July 8th he suffered a severe asthma attack in his sleep which caused him to go into cardiac arrest. His 12 year old brother and 16 year old girlfriend gave him CPR which helped save his life until the paramedics came. He died 3 times on his way to the hospital which caused him to suffer brain damage and it cause his organs to fail. He has a long journey to recovery He’s in the ICU and has been there since July 8th he has to take physical therapy and speech therapy. He’s unable to talk,walk,eat or even swallow. The cost of transportation is becoming overwhelming and on top of that we have to try and move to somewhere that has special accommodation because he will need medical care when he is finally able to come home. We’re just asking for enough to get transportation back and forth to the hospital because he’s in a different State and it cost to get back in forth from Washington, DC to where Markis is so we can be by his side every step of the way. Those that know me know I never ask for help so it’s a lot for me to even have to do this but I’m a single mom and at this moment I do need help I just want my child to get back to some type of normal life and I wanna be able to be at the hospital everyday his daughter that was only a month old when this happened is now about to be 1 years old and needs her father even if it’s from his hospital bed the bond they have is amazing.
