Winston, the Golden Doodle hero dog, helped save a 75-year-old man who broke his neck in Rockland, ME. He now needs some heroes to help with his vet bill. Winston recently ruptured his ACL , tore his meniscus and will need surgery.

Winston saw the fallen man on the breakwater in the harbor, and as good Samaritans stepped in to help, he pressed his nose against the man’s cheek and then lay down against him, putting his head across his legs and comforting him until paramedics arrived. Winston stayed at the side of the injured man who says he helped to keep him calm while he was in terrible pain.

As a family member, it is my hope some heroes will be able to assist Winston’s caregivers with the cost of the upcoming surgical repair and convalescence. Any amount is appreciated.
