<div>Will's Place is named after one of my best friends, my younger brother, William.

<div>William is a great guy. He's 22 years old, a wonderful baker of cookies, a big Cubs fan, and an adult with disabilities. William was adopted from Vietnam in 2001 and has been a bright light in my family ever since.

<div>William can't speak but communicates quite clearly through other means including help from technology, gestures and context.

<div><strong>As an adult with disabilities, work and career prospects can seem pretty bleak. </strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>That's why we started this new nonprofit. Since it opened this summer, we've watched it <strong>transform the lives of young adults</strong> and bring downtown Skokie a much-needed, quality lunch option.
</div>

</div>
<div>It's not easy or cheap to keep a brand new restaurant of this quality - and this mission - going strong without cutting corners. And we're determined to continue to do things the right away - without compromising the customer experience or <strong>our core mission, to employ adults with disabilities</strong>.

<div>That's why <strong>I'm looking to raise $10,000</strong> to boost Will's Place with extra momentum going into the new year. 
</div>
