Help Willow chase bunnies again

Our poor Willow has ruptured her Cruciate Ligament(a common knee injury in athletes). We noticed last year she had some issues, took her to the vet and have been treating her with an anti-inflammatory and some doctors orders. Unfortunately, she is not getting better. She is just over 4 1/2 and has a lot of life left in her. She loved to take walks, rough house, play, chase mice, bunnies and squirrels, but is hardly able to without it wreaking havoc on her afterwards. Our vet has suggested 2 surgeries, as she is over compensating on her other leg now.
We have done quite a bit of research on it and feel that surgery will give her some of her doggie joy back. The testimonials on the recovery has us convinced that it is the best thing for her.
She goes to see a surgeon December 2, 2020 to see when she will have it and what all it will entail, recovery, etc. as it has gotten worse over the year. (They said they may do surgery same day as appointment). We hope to bring joy back to her as she has brought us so much.
