In memory of William Londoño
We have all been in a long battle against Covid-19. As it continues to affect us it pains me to say that this sickness has directly affected my family.
On July 7th my father was admitted into a hospital as he was feeling ill. Having had the Pfizer vaccine administered back in February 2021, we did not think it was due to the Coronavirus. Since then he has been in a fight for his life. After he was diagnosed he has been going through all the procedures necessary to help him recuperate. On July 11th he was moved into the ICU and has continued to decline in health.
We have our hopes that he will come back from this but as he continues to undergo treatment his medical expenses have skyrocketed. Due to limitations in proper health insurance coverage towards Covid-19, these expenses have become unmanageable. My father is someone who would do anything for the ones he loves. At this time we’re doing just that. We’re trying to do everything in our power to help aid his recovery, cover his medical expenses and bring him home. William Londoño is a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, fur-dad and above all else a fighter. Whatever you can do to help us bring him back home would be incredibly helpful to us all.

Todos hemos estado en una larga batalla contra Covid-19. Como sigue afectándonos, me duele decir que esta enfermedad ha afectado directamente a mi familia.
El 7 de julio mi padre ingresó en un hospital porque se sentía enfermo. Después de habernos administrado la vacuna Pfizer en febrero de 2021, no pensamos que se debiera al coronavirus. Desde entonces ha estado luchando por su vida. Después de que le diagnosticaron, se sometió a todos los procedimientos necesarios para ayudarlo a recuperarse. El 11 de julio fue trasladado a la UCI y su salud ha seguido deteriorándose.
Tenemos la esperanza de que regrese de esto, pero a medida que continúa recibiendo tratamiento, sus gastos médicos se han disparado. Debido a las limitaciones en la cobertura de seguro de salud adecuada para Covid-19, estos gastos se han vuelto inmanejables. Mi padre es alguien que haría cualquier cosa por sus seres queridos. En este momento estamos haciendo precisamente eso. Estamos tratando de hacer todo lo que esté a nuestro alcance para ayudarlo a recuperarse, cubrir sus gastos médicos y llevarlo a casa. William Londoño es hijo, hermano, esposo, padre, abuelo, peludo y sobre todo un luchador. Todo lo que pueda hacer para ayudarnos a traerlo de regreso a casa sería increíblemente útil para todos nosotros.
Gracias a todos los que se han tomado el tiempo de ayudar, continúan ayudando y por la generosidad de su tiempo. Seguimos sintiendo sus pensamientos, oraciones y buenos deseos al luchar en esta guerra.
