Help Wilder’s Medical Bills

Wilder “Niño” Velasquez came face to face with a gun barrel during an attempted robbery on Saturday August 11th.  Niño is a sushi chef at Osaka Sushi & Steak on Huguenot Road in Richmond. One evening while leaving work with a coworker, Niño and Lopez Anyel were held at gunpoint by two men and viscously attacked. Niño and Lopez didn’t have much on them, but that did not stop their attackers from stealing the little cash they had on hand and their phones. 

Unfortunatley that was not the end of this story. While Lopez was able to walk away after being attacked, Niño is currently recovering in ICU after being shot in the neck. He lives with his sister Hermelinda and serves as a tremendous source of income for their household. However, Niño will spend months out of work recovering, with the added weight of thousands of dollars in medical bills. 

Please help ease the weight the Velasques’ will have to bear after this unfortunate tragedy. Expenses like this are not planned for and any amount helps tremendously.
