<div>Whitford is an incredible young woman who was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Her father passed away from the same awful disease about six years ago. But if you think ALS is going to slow Whitford down, you're wrong! She teaches three year olds at a Preschool, coaches field hockey, and mentors college students among other things. Whitford is strong and resilient, but also realistic about her prognosis. That being said, we want to help her experience her biggest bucket list item, traveling to see the Northern Lights while she's still able to easily do so. Your donations will help cover airfare for Whitford, her mother, and sister, plus lodging. Any money left will go towards Whitford's medical bills as she bravely fights the battle against ALS.
