If you are an animal lover or rescue in Luzerne County, I’m sure you have heard of Brenda Buckler. Brenda is literally an angel on earth to animals in need. She and her partner Donna Fountain have helped countless cats (dogs too) over the years and continue to do so. Whether it be cats from the streets that were dumped, cats from overcrowded shelters, or cats that she sees in need on social media, Brenda refuses to turn her back on these precious souls. Brenda and Donna rescue at all hours of the day and night in every kind of weather condition. Brenda is also the founder of Whisker’s World, which is a nonprofit organization run by all volunteers that helps animals in the community find homes, spaying/neutering, and providing veterinary care. Brenda and Donna currently care for over 100 cats. The cats are spread among three locations.

I’m starting this GoFundMe in hopes to help Whisker’s World Inc. pay off some vet bills, TNR more community cats, and purchase food and supplies in order to help more cats in need! Brenda is so deserving! She goes above and beyond for cats in need! So please, if you are able to donate towards this cause, it would be greatly appreciated! If you are unable to donate, please share! Thank you!
