Help Wendy Rebuild Her Life and Find Hope

My name is Wendy. The past 3 years have been the hardest of my life. All I’ve seen is loss. My faith, my marriage, long-standing friendships, my favorite job, 6 precious animals I loved dearly (3 passed and 3 separated from me). My gracious family helped when and where they could, but how do you help someone start over and rebuild with nothing but the clothes on their backs and a 2-year-old in their arms? The man we counted on told us to never come home and abandoned us financially and in every other way. My 95-year-old grandad gave me his prized possession: his 2011 Toyota Camry. He took care of it like his own child but gave it to me because I desperately needed a car and job. Unfortunately, the day I collided with a semi, I lost both. I was a delivery worker, so no car, no job. I can’t afford to live. I can’t afford attorney fees. I can’t afford a new car. My faith has never been more shaken. How do I rely on a God who seems to do nothing but take lately? I barely even have money for food and toilet paper, let alone all these other things that keep getting thrown my way. I have a horrible past and didn’t think sober people could go through such a terrible time as I once did as an addict. I was wrong. This is worse. I’ve never felt more hopeless and alone. And honestly... pathetic. I need help. I just need help, please. There are some who have willingly reached out and done random acts of kindness. I guess I’m creating this to see if it’s possible to get more. Please help me.
