<div>My name is Jileesah Sowell, and my brothers Brian, Benjamin and Brandon would like to raise money for our parents’ Wendy &amp; Brian Childs. Their home was tragically burned down due to the Eaton Fires that occurred on January 8, 2025.

<div>Our family has lived in this home for over 25 years. My mother was raised on this very same street my brothers and I was raised on, in a home 5 houses down the block. This home is where my parents wanted to spend the rest of their lives.
</div>
<div>On December 31, 2024, my mother retired from her job she worked at for over 20 years. She started her first week of retirement off with losing everything her and my father worked so hard for, this is very tragic and heartbreaking for them both. They were not able to save or salvage anything.

</div>
<div>Now it’s time to recover what was lost, and my parents, like many others need assistance. Any contribution, no matter the amount will go towards all essentials like food, clothing, temporary and or permeant housing. Everything was lost so any aid and support will help.

<div>These tragic fires have terribly impacted our Altadena/Pasadena Community. We all know that others are currently in need due to the travesty, so anything given is truly appreciated.

<div>Thank you to everyone for your generosity, love, and support through this trying time. My parents are very grateful and appreciative for all the prayers and assistance received. Nothing has gone unnoticed. Please spread the word and or share this link to help Brian &amp; Wendy Childs.
