We are a group of passionate students from Webster University in St. Louis who are determined to bring the hilarious and quirky musical, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, to life! As students, we want to create accessible, high-quality theater free for anyone to watch, but we need your help to make it happen.
What We Need
Producing a musical requires funding for essential elements like:
Royalties: Licensing fees to produce the show.
Costumes & Props: To make the production visually engaging and true to its creative vision.

Why This Show?
The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals is a witty and thought-provoking reflection on society that asks the question: “What role do we play within it?”
In this musical, our everyman protagonist, Paul—who doesn't like musicals—finds himself grappling with societal norms and pressures. Through the slapstick symbolism of musicals, Paul’s world unravels as his neighbors and friends become corrupted by an alien parasite, transforming them into a living, breathing hivemind of chorus lines and musical numbers.
Stories like this are more important than ever. They remind us of the beauty and value of individuality while sparking meaningful conversations about our differences in today’s political and social landscape.
