Warren Gregory is best known as the Flowerbikeman, a persona he uses to make people happy all around Amsterdam. Putting smiles on peoples faces by making and putting his colourful flower bikes throughout the city. But what many people don't realise is that Warren is living on tough times, he doesn't like to bother people with his troubles so the world doesn't tend to know too much about it.  From a small boat docked near the NDSM he and his wife are trying to keep doing this, by remaining in Amsterdam. But in order to do so they need to obtain a business visa,  for which, among other things, he needs to have  €5000 in his bank account. You would say, save up some money. But both Warren and his wife Michelle live off of his disability pension, while Michelle attempts to deal with her epilepsy. Knowing that her medicine is €350 back in Florida compared to the €5 it costs here, there seems no other way but to stay here where they can keep selling smiles for free. Warren doesn't like to ask for too much and thus hasn't attempted to take this route before, but we (a group of students that are making a biographic short documentary about his life) really feel like he deserves it and we hope you do too. Thank you all again for collectively having reached our previous goal of 5000 euro’s! However recent circumstances have caused us to have to heighten it to 15000 now that Michelle has been doing worse and worse and medical help cannot wait any longer. Of course the previously gathered money will still be used for the purpose of reaching legality for Warren and his wife here in the Netherlands. But any much needed new donations will go towards Michelle’s medical bills.
