<div><strong>Good day/night to you, whoever you might be reading this. My name is Zakaria ZAHIDI, a french citizen setting up this GoFundMe for Wael, a dear friend of mine and my mother. We come to you, asking for your generosity so that we can help our friend and his family have a slightly less hard life. Here's his message to you, talking about himself, his family and the war:</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>The original, in arabic :</strong>

</div>

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>And a translation :</strong>

</div>

<div>"<em>I am Wael from Gaza. Before the war, I worked in air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance. This is my story: Rescue and a Return to Life: My Sister and Father from Gaza</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>From the depths of our pain... we reach out to you.</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>To every compassionate heart and eye that sees the suffering...</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>We write this appeal to you from the heart of the catastrophe in Gaza, where life has become a daily struggle for survival. Our story is the story of thousands who have lost everything except the hope of survival.</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>Our lives were stable before this crisis struck, but now the fate of my dear sister and my beloved father hangs in the balance between destruction and need: my dear sister and my dear father.</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>We have lost our safe haven, and we both face double the challenges:</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>We ask for your help to provide the basics for a return to life after this catastrophe:</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>* *Health and Medical Needs:* [for my injured sister and father].</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>I have exhausted all my resources trying to provide for my family's needs. We reach out to you, seeking your help to begin the journey of rebuilding what the war has destroyed, and to keep hope alive in the eyes of my sister and father.</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>We urge you to contribute, participate, and share this appeal. Every dollar is a step towards restoring normalcy to my family. May God reward you, accept your good deeds, and thank you to everyone who has extended a helping hand.</em>"

</div>

<div><br />

</div>
