Help Violeta Medlin Replace Her Shattered Windshield

Hello, my name is Violet. I'm making this GoFundMe for my mom, Violeta Medlin. Just recently, my mom experienced another setback with her vehicle and altogether financially.

For the past month, she had been getting it fixed, spending a few hundred here, a few hundred there. Finally, when she felt it was okay to begin to drive it again, she found herself experiencing another setback.

On Feb. 26th, a Wednesday evening, my mom had attended a friend's rosary that ended about 8:30ish pm and soon began to make her way home heading northbound on San Pedro Ave. As she was passing Hildebrand, going underneath the train bridge, out of nowhere somebody threw a huge rock which landed directly onto my mother's windshield, shattering it completely and nearly going through it.

I can't imagine how much my mother was shaken up, but thankfully she managed to safely pull over into the Circle K parking lot located right after the bridge on San Pedro and called SAPD. Soon after they arrived, they went searching to see if they could find the person who possibly could have done this but didn't see anybody in the area or underneath the bridge. My mom unfortunately isn't fully covered with her car insurance, so she cannot file a claim for assistance with it, and if a claim is filed against the city, it can take quite some time, months, for it to even begin to get reviewed.

My mother uses her van to go to work every single day, and having just spent a few hundred here and a few hundred there to get it up and running, for this to happen has been an unfortunate setback for my mom. We ask if it's possible if you can help and donate towards getting a new windshield for my mother; it would be greatly appreciated.
