Hello, I'm starting this fundraiser for my son. He is 4 years old, his name is Vikash, and he is in need of a heart transplant. He was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy. It’s a disease where the heart isn’t working at full capacity; in other words, heart failure. It is such a critical condition and time for me and my family. He’s in the ICU at Cohen's Children's Hospital in New Hyde Park. A update on current location is now nyu in manhattan due to the fact cohens hospital wasn’t able to continue caring and treatment for my son Vikash, it was in the best decision for them to transfer him to a more suitable and more experienced hospital in matters in this situation.
