My name is Kelly McKay, I'm a social worker and local volunteer cat rescuer. I'm raising money to help the staff of Victor's Parking Garage at 275 Park Avenue, Brooklyn, defray the cost of veterinary care for the 4 new cats that live in the garage.

Last year I started helping a couple of kitties that lived in the garage-Lisa and Pantera. I worked with the kind staff to take them to the vet for spay/vaccinations and to treat Lisa's medical conditions. Pantera sadly disappeared later, but with permission of the staff, we found Lisa a wonderful forever home due to her age and health conditions after 14 years in the garage.

Recently Marlin reached out to me again to ask for help in getting their new kitties the veterinary care they need. Estrella is an 11 month old dusty calico lady who is scheduled at a discount vet on February 27th for spay and vaccinations. In April, the three adorable kittens Inky, Onyx and Lena will be 4 months old and in need of vaccines/spay/neuter before they hit puberty.

The cost at Flatbush Vet, a nonprofit community vet clinic, is much lower than anywhere else in NYC, and I am on their rescuer list so I get further a discount, therefore it's only about $217 per cat for spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, and microchip (in case they get lost). This is a lot for the staff to come up with, and we are asking for your help with the costs. Even $5 or $10 donations add up! I will post receipts and updates as we get them.
