Victoria, a photographer, sociological researcher, and involved member of her community, was in Long Beach presenting her research for Boise State University when she suddenly fell ill. She has had to undergo emergency brain surgeries in California and is unable to return home to Boise. Her mother Julia flew out to be by her daughter’s side as soon as possible.
