Help Victoria Fight Against Bone Cancer

Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Elizabeth and it’s with a heavy heart that I set up this funding page for my beautiful friend Victoria.

As some of you may know, Victoria was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in October 2020, she underwent a Mastectomy and was told she had the all clear. Unfortunately, Victoria has been in a lot of pain recently and her mobility has been deteriorating, after investigation and many tests, she has a confirmed diagnosis of advanced stage4 metastasis to the bone. The cancer is incurable.

The aim of this page is to raise funds to allow us explore additional treatment for Victoria, homeopathic remedies/therapies, dietary options and alternative therapies. The professional and comprehensive advice that she urgently needs regarding her diet and supplements/drugs to support her targeted cancer, therapy does not come cheap.
Due to the extensive metastasis on her pelvis causing so much damage, she is at high risk of a fracture. If she gets a fracture, it is life threatening. Victoria has to keep as still as possible and not put any pressure on her bones, she will need a wheelchair to aid her mobility and keep her safe. We need to keep her as safe and comfortable as possible whilst she is undergoing treatment to strengthen her bones and treatment to stabilise the cancer.

The aim is to prevent the cancer from spreading and to help Victoria keep stable for as long as possible so that she can maintain a healthy lifestyle with her two small children, Austin 7 and Eva 5. We need to keep her body as healthy as possible to give her the best chance for the targeted treatment to work and stopping the spread of the cancer. The goal is for her to be able to walk again and keep the cancer stabilised, the cancer is incurable so we have to maintain these therapies to enable Victoria to have the best quality of life.

Despite the incurable diagnosis, Victoria being Victoria is ever the optimist and wants to fight this cancer head on, especially for her children. As resilient as Victoria is, there is only so much one person can do, she won’t be able to work and has two young children to try and be strong for, she really needs our help.

Victoria is one of the most health-conscious people I know and has led a very active lifestyle. Victoria has taken part in numerous half marathons, last year she ran 100 miles, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and danced all her life performing in many shows. As you can imagine, the deterioration of her mobility is mentally very hard to come to terms with. She needs our support.

There is an urgency to start her treatment which will begin Thursday 25th November. The treatment is targeted chemotherapy.

Thank you for taking the time to read her story. Victoria needs our prayers and positive thoughts in abundance, she would love more than anything to be able to see her children grow up and to say that she is beating cancer. She really needs us right now so let’s show her our support and make a difference.

Due to the side effects of the treatment, Victoria may not feel strong enough to respond to messages individually but she will try and post updates on her Instagram (@life_with_victioria_charlotte).
