With Tropical Storm Debby battering Florida's western coast, Victor & Aksana Golub (along with their two children) were caught right in the middle. Their street flooded severely, resulting in massive damages to their house and their belongings.

Three cars (one company car) were fully totaled with the 4-5ft of standing water outside and in a detached garage, and 6 inches of standing water inside the home damaged most furniture, not to mention the walls and structure of the house itself.

They are trying to recover now, and deal with the displacement from their home, the loss of much of what they have ever owned in the US, and the headache of insurance companies and recovering what they can. Not to mention that school is supposed to start for Nikita and Milana next week amidst this devastation.

My name is Kirill Miniaev, and I am a close friend of Victor and Aksana from their days living in Kansas City. My family was just in Florida with them the day before the storm hit, and I am doing everything I can to help them get back on their feet. Any little bit will help them on their way to recovering their livelihoods and their possessions. Luckily, they themselves were not hurt in the flood.

Everything donated will go directly to Victor & Aksana and to their effort to recover their possessions and repair their house and lives.
