<div>Hi, my name is Vick, and I'm fundraising so I can buy a car/vehicle to be able to get to work safely and on time. All my life, I have suffered with using Toronto's awful public transit system, and I've had enough. The TTC continues to hike up the fares each and every single year making it far too expensive, yet the service seems to get worse and worse each passing day. Plus it's overcrowded, and gets even more packed when people pile on strollers and bicycles. It often stinks with various odours, and most of the time it's filthy with garbage everywhere. I'm sure there are other people in the same situation, but my adversities are extra stressful, as I'm about to enumerate and explain.

<div>I work in a school as an EA (Educational Assistant). Unfortunately for me, the school I work in is not close to home, and in the ten years I've worked with the school board, I've never been able to get a position in one of my preferred schools or one of the schools close to my home that I've always wanted, which would be an easy commute for me, I've tried and tried and tried multiple times, but despite my best efforts of constant scratching and clawing over the past decade, it just never worked out and I've had to commute further away from home than I would like to.
</div>
<div>All my life, I've always taken pride in being punctual. But there have been instances over the last couple of years where I've been running late due to the TTC's terrible service and horrible scheduling. It gets much worse in the winter with the snowy and icy roads. I've already been warned that if I continue being late I could end up losing my job. Unfortunately, the situation is out of my control; I spend between 45 minutes and 2 hours just waiting on the buses in the morning, and in the winter during snow storms and blizzards it takes upwards of 5 hours to get home in the evenings; it is absolutley ridiculous. So I desperately NEED my own car.
</div>
<div>In being mindful of the environment and taking care of it, and also of the high gas prices; I am looking to get an electric car, perhaps a Tesla.

<div>Please support me with the endeavour of finally getting a vehicle of my own so I can save several hours in my day and be able to get more done instead of wasting time waiting hours and hours on end for the horrible TTC. I will be posting updates below from time to time so be sure to read through and check them out.

<div>Thank you very much for your consideration and your kind and generous support!
