Hi, my name is Dan and I am raising money to be able to get my cat on the mend.

Last night my cat did not come home, which is not normal, she's usually always at the door ready to eat and then cuddle in bed. I spent all night searching for her, I did not get an ounce of sleep, but soon was reunited after a neighbour posted her on FB. I ran straight to the house and picked her up but found her completely battered and struggling to move her back legs.

She's perhaps one of the loveliest cats in existence and it hurts me so much to know that she was injured so badly, left in the dark and the cold, unable to make her way to me while I called out for her.

I took her to the vets and paid for the first visit using credit, I've spent £850 so far. Unfortunately, I don't have insurance but I can see that she will need more visits to make sure she's ok. All the funds will be used to ensure my cat Trix is restored to full health and any extra will be passed on to another person in need of a similar situation.

So far we've discovered she has a fractured pelvis, something the vets believe will heal on its own but with strict surveillance and time. We needed to make sure she could urinate and fortunately she did which was great.

I am a student so funds are tight, I'm not asking for everything to be paid, but having a little extra would mean the world to me.
