<div>In May 2025, she was finally diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer, already spread to the abdominal lining (peritoneum). In the UK, this is considered inoperable. Her doctors offered only palliative chemotherapy — no surgery, no real hope.

<div>Sheba Medical Center in Israel, one of the top hospitals in the world, has offered Valeria a potentially life-extending surgery called HIPEC — heated chemotherapy administered directly inside the abdomen after tumor removal. This procedure is not available through the NHS, but it could give her precious extra time with her children.
