Help us treat homeless man's dog (Trudy)

I am a homeless dog in need of veterinary care.

My name is Trudy and I am a senior staffordshire terrier. For the last 3 years I have lived in a car with my human, Michael. Recently my human had an accident requiring surgery and is in hospital with a broken ankle, ribs and wrist. 

Some folks from the local dog park have taken me in and will care for me indefinitely. We are not sure if and when my human will be coming back. The vet tells me I am not doing so well and will require ongoing care. The folks that have taken me in already care for 3 dogs and have on and off taken over my health needs over the last couple of years. Todays vet bill alone was $500. 

'Living on the streets has meant that Trudy hasn't benefitted from regular veterinary care. She has abscessed teeth and a tumour that requires attention. We would like to keep Trudy comfortable and cared for in her final months. We understand that Trudy won't be with us for a long time but we feel her loyalty to her owner shouldn't go unrewarded' 

These funds will assist in a better end of life for Trudy.
