Please Help Us to Help Candice face her next battle. After a long private battle against illness, the time has come to ask for help. Many of you will know Candice but for those who don’t, it’s not often you find someone who is so truly selfless and deserving of our help. After a long private battle fighting rare Bronchial Carcinoid Cancer, it’s time to tell her story and let others share her fight. Twenty four years ago, when Candice was 16 years old, she was diagnosed with Bronchial Carcinoid Cancer and lost one lung. Her journey to fight this disease has been a long one having endured multiple life-saving surgeries and medical treatments year after year. She has fought this battle with quiet grace and dignity, never complaining. But once again, this disease has raised its ugly head and left this lovely family with another life-threatening challenge - facing brain surgery for the second time, more radiation therapy and on-going care. We desperately want to help Candice with this next battle. This will be the toughest one yet, one Candice, Thomas and their two girls will find hard to do alone. We are raising funds to help Candice with her surgery, medical and travel expenses, any possible overseas treatments, as well as the ongoing care she will require going forward. Any donations however big or small to support this family and help Candice receive the best treatment and on-going care available will be so very much appreciated.
