We are Team "Unleash Your Immunity" or UYI in short, an initiative to support and foster the sense of mindfulness and peace in the surrounding community. UnleashYourImmunity emphasizes the wellbeing of mankind leveraging age-old methods like #Ayurveda, #Yoga, and #Naturopathy. We help spread the knowledge of self-immunity and health to every human being.
We strongly believe humans can avoid the majority of health-related stress and pain by going back to the simplistic lifestyle governed by the preventive care approach. Read our video blog (vlog) - Preventive vs Curative Cure.
Our effort is to ensure Preventive Cure doesn't end up becoming just buying a #turmeric supplement or going to a #yoga studio. We want our communities to make it part of our culture. Some of our members grew up in families in India and we can easily relate this to our childhood when waking up in the morning and doing yoga in our community centers everyday (365 days in a year) was part of our culture, "Aum" meditation was part of everyday prayer in our schools, etc. In these days of uncertainty, stress, lifestyle-related health issues, and many other similar problems, building healthy practices in every home which can bring physical and mental harmony in our communities and globally, is the need of the hour and is very relevant and important.
We at UYI are trying to democratize the health practices like yoga and meditation in every home by giving free in-person online community services to anyone and everyone irrespective of caste, creed, community, religion, state, country or any other boundary. These services are run by volunteers who may not have professional certificates but have relevant experience to ensure these practices become a culture. In-person help is slowed down a lot due to the COVID-19 issue.
We want to expand our effort and campaign our thought-leadership and belief of healthy cultures and communities globally. We want to engage with volunteers and experts to campaign in schools, colleges, corporate offices, and institutions for this cause, organize and execute all of them as projects and tracks.
We need funds to engage with various communities, volunteers, technical teams, and service providers. We thought of selling some relevant artwork on our website (and is still showcased) but that has not been successful. In addition, we always felt that "selling items" is not something we'd like to focus on. We'd like to focus on building the "Culture" of Health and Care and Wellbeing and continue to keep our organization as nonprofit as much possible.
