Hello Family!
As many of you know I am in the process of building The Kitchen a shared culinary space and Market Place in Midtown Detroit where myself and other Chefs will teach our community how to eat to live. I am super excited about the progress that has been made on our build out and we are in the home stretch! It’s happening, can you believe it?
What you may not know is that The Kitchen, by Cooking with Que has hit a roadblock in securing funding. Within the last three days, I learned one of the financial Institutes which agreed to supply funding for The Kitchen has indeed backed out of the project. This leaves a remaining deficit of $94,000 which is the total amount needed to complete the ongoing construction of The Kitchen.
I’ve fully secured 85% of the $608,000 needed to complete the build out and acquire the equipment needed for the culinary classes which will take place in our building. Believe it or not, it’s easier to get funding for a fast food restaurant or a liquor store than it is to build a space that will teach preventative measures through food to keep our family and friends healthy.
Family we need your help.
The Kitchen needs $94,000 in 30 days in order to open I am asking that if you support Cooking with Que and believe in my cause that you do three little things to help me secure the funding I need for completion of The Kitchen:
Donate to our campaign! Whether 94,000 people donate $! or 1 person donates $94,000 we don't care!
Tag at least three people in our campaign video on social media! This includes family, friends, your favorite influencer and celebrities! I am partial to Oprah, Ellen, and Michelle Obama but that just me :)
