<div>As hard as it is for me to write this, I feel it’s necessary. On December 29th, I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer, carcinosarcoma—a very rare and aggressive disease. Since then, my health has declined, and I have been forced to resign from my job.

<div>On top of this, I am now facing serious complications with my lungs that may prevent me from being able to go through chemotherapy. Each day has brought new challenges, and I am taking everything one moment at a time.

<div>My greatest strength and motivation through all of this is my son. He is my heart, my purpose, and the reason I keep fighting every day. The thought of him keeps me grounded, even on the hardest days.
</div>

<div>My husband, who is self-employed, will be left to pick up the pieces—grieving the possible loss of his wife while also caring for our eight beloved animals. I worry deeply about the weight this will place on him, especially financially. I had a life insurance plan but I didn’t realize it lapsed in August.

<div>I am starting this GoFundMe in hopes of easing some of the burden by helping with living expenses and potential end-of-life costs. Those who know me know that I don’t have much family, and the family I do have is struggling financially themselves, so I don’t want to be a burden to them.
