Hop! Jump! Twirl! and Tip Toe!

Help us say thank you to an amazing community artist pouring her time, talents and treasures into our sensory path.

I am one of those people who think I can do anything so when the idea of adding a sensory path to our playground at school came about I was sure I could do it. I reached out to some parents who were artist to ask for suggestions on materials and supplies and through one of these parents I was put in contact with Diana. She's a muralist who has added her charm and talent to many community restaurants and businesses.

I was hoping she could tell me the kind of paint I would need but to my surprise she offered to donate her supplies and time to our school and this project.

As a small school this is an amazing blessing. A sensory path will allow more children to engage during recess, to practice important gross motor skills, and will provide students a tangible way to help calm and regulate their bodies.

I am asking for donations to say thank you to Diana with an artist stipend. She is not requiring this to complete the work (her time and materials are donated) but she is a mom and has a heart for community projects like this.

This request is not affiliated with our school and all money raised will be provided as a stipend for Diana and a huge thank you.
