Heaven gained one of the most beautiful angels, Sherie Mendes. As many of you know, our beloved Sherie passed away Thursday evening after battling cancer for a year and a half. She was surrounded by family and friends during her last moments of her precious life.

As a mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend, she touched all of our lives in ways she didn’t even know. She was the most genuine, kind and loving person with a contagious smile and a heart of gold. Her fun-loving spirit will live on forever in the good times we had with her, and the memories we share of her. She always thought of everyone else first, and was the strongest of all fighters during her battle with cancer. She was the backbone of her family and friends and made everyone feel safe and secure. We will remember her forever, and she will never lose the large place she holds in all of our hearts.

Please keep Gary, Ashley, Kassidy and the rest of their family in your thoughts and prayers. Donated funds will help the financial strain of funeral and medical expenses that a tragedy like this brings to a family.
