Hello, my name is Natalie and my Son is 11 month old Jordan Mark Sewell.
Jordan was born 5 weeks early after I had a placenta abruption, Jordan had light therapy as treatment for jaundice and was discharged at 2 days old. At a week and a half old Jordan displayed symptoms of something worrying, he was intubated and transferred to Royal Stoke children’s hospital and after 24 hours Jordan was diagnosed with Enterovirus Meningococcal encephalitis, for those that aren’t aware, this was viral meningitis with no treatment. Jordan seemed to be getting better but then took a turn for the worse. He was extubated and this eventually failed after 11 hours where he was then intubated again. A few days later he was fully extubated and finally made it back home, he had a feeding tube (nasogastric tube) and suffered from temperature regulation issues. After 2 weeks Jordan was straight back in the same situation. To date Jordan has had 10 cardiac arrests, has been intubated 5 times and we don’t expect things to get any easier or better for our little soldier.

We ask that anyone that can relate or understand what we are going through to support us with funds to be able to travel wherever he is.
Myself, Jordan’s dad and his two sisters Brooke and ryley appreciate any donations or even messages of support and well wishes.
Thankyou for reading.
