<div>My name is Dawn Douglas, and I am writing to you in a time of deep distress and concern for my daughter, Ronni Douglas. What started as a family holiday in Turkey has turned into an unimaginable nightmare, and we need your help more than ever.

<div>Shortly after arriving in Turkey Ronni started to feel unwell with stomach pains and vomiting. We sought out treatment for this but in the following days her health took a sudden and severe turn. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered she has a perforated esophagus after throwing up for several days, a life-threatening complication that required immediate intensive care. They advised us the insurance didn't cover the severity of the illness and to seek out other means of payment which leads us to here.

<div>I have had no choice but to return home with our young niece and nephew tonight, leaving Ronni in the ICU, thousands of miles away. The heartbreak of having to leave her side, not knowing what the future holds, is indescribable. I desperately need to get back out to her once the children safe at home with relatives.
