Help us support disabled entrepreneurs!

Donation protected

Hi everyone!

We would like to invite you to be a part of supporting the very first fundraiser on behalf of The Accessful Foundation (Registered Charity: 1191925), the UK's brand new charity supporting and promoting disabled entrepreneurialism.

We have a launch week forthcoming between January 4th to January 8th, when the charity becomes operational, and this particular drive will run until just after our official launch.

The Accessful Foundation  works to create support and network opportunities including regular webinars featuring business leaders and disabled entrepreneurs, one-to-one mentoring and giving grants to assist people in furthering, creating or expanding their business venture. We also want to promote the creative business excellence of our community.

You may already be in business, or you may just desire to do so down the line. Both are great! We can help with immediate needs, or even helping you come to your own decision if this is something for you in a few years time.

Although we appreciate some measures of success are obvious, for us - we deem success by YOUR standards. We would be delighted if your business becomes known and appreciated around the world, but we would be just as delighted to help you create an employment for you, using your measures of success, to improve your life. THAT is how we see success.

Grants may be, for example; an industrial oven for an at-home baker to further their business, a graphic design course and transport to the venue for an aspiring self employed creator or it may be used to manufacture products for a new business. How the support looks per person will be based upon their needs and aims with a broad framework.

This charity is for disabled people, by disabled people and our process is open, transparent and very much dynamic. We want the charity to exist for you and with you, so please get in touch with any thoughts or ideas.

Your donations will go towards our grant giving fund and towards our very minimal costs as a charity, with the largest and most important next expense being our accessible website. Money from this drive will go towards this too.

Employment inaccessibility has been a long-held problem in the UK and this has often led to disabled people being forced towards creating their own employment and with the surrounding economic issues of Covid-19, this is a particularly challenging moment for our community. We also acknowledge for many disabled entrepreneurs, becoming so was a choice and long term ambition and that inaccessibility was not a defining factor for them and for those entrepreneurs, we want to champion and promote the fantastic work you do!

Please note we are in the process of our registration as a charity account with GoFundMe, so this drive is in the name of one of our founders. Funds will be withdrawn by a trustee, to our charity account. We will provide an update of this of course.

Thank you for reading and being a part of this and helping us support and create a generation of disabled entrepreneurs. We are so grateful and cannot do it without you!
