<div>Union Chapel's Welcome Project has supported over 1000 asylum seekers in the last three years. But now we have lost our funding and urgently need your support to continue our work. But all this is expensive an we need £8,000 each month to provide this support. Just a small donation can make a big difference.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help we can keep providing a warm welcome and friendly community to people fleeing persecution, and support people to navigate life in the UK.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We can offer:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>-English and culture classes to help asylum seekers integrate into UK society
</div>
<div>-Humanitarian fund to support asylum seekers in desperate situations
</div>
<div>-Exercise and wellbeing activities to support physical and mental health
</div>
<div>-Legal advice through our partnership with Praxis
</div>
<div>-Casework and advocacy for those navigating the asylum system
</div>
<div>-Practical support such as warm coats, sim cards, and train tickets to urgent appointments
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some of the asylum seekers we've supported told us:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"They helped me with the official, daunting challenges of the asylum system while also caring for my personal wellbeing through community and events. The organisation was more than helpful; it was essential to my journey towards stability in the UK.'
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"What made the organisation different and especially helpful was how they treated us with respect and involved us. They didn't just decide what was good for us; they asked us for our opinions on what activities to add and what type of events we wanted. This made us feel heard and valued, and it meant the activities, like the football sessions, were exactly what we needed to relieve stress."
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Union Chapel is truly making the UK a more welcoming place for people seeking safety. I will always be grateful for your support."
</div>
<div><br />
