The Asian American community has been facing an overwhelming number of attacks and hate crimes, particularly our Asian elderly, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
84-year-old Thai man Vicha Ratanapakdee was killed after being slammed in San Francisco.
61-year-old Filipino man Noel Quintana was slashed across the face with a boxcutter on a Manhattan subway.
56-year-old Chinese woman Ying Ngov was attacked and beaten by three men in Pennsylvania.
Recently, on March 16, 2021, a case in which 6 Asian women were targeted & murdered in Atlanta, GA has swept the nation with outrage.
These are just a few of the countless crimes committed that have caused widespread fear in Asian American communities nationwide. As a country, we can no longer ignore these tragedies that have and continue to plague our communities.
We will no longer tolerate the stench of silence.
As a voice for the voiceless, together we can #StopAsianHate!

⁃ To create awareness & combat anti-asian rhetoric & sentiment in Boston & other key cities in America through social media campaigns
- To raise funds for local organizations and struggling Asian-owned businesses in Boston's Chinatown and beyond
- To cultivate a shared identity through visual & cultural awareness through merchandise for the #StopAsianHate community
⁃ To establish physical communal spaces through a non-profit organization (501c3)
- To develop an online hub for Asian Americans & allies through a new website
- To build inter-community alliances with Black, Latinx & other marginalized communities through future rallies in Massachusetts & across key cities in the United States ✊✊

About Stop Asian Hate :
We are a student-led grassroots initiative composed of Asian American college students and allies who aim to tackle the issue of hate crimes and violence against Asian Americans. Since we’re not operating under a large organization, the funds to put this operation together are coming directly out of our pockets, so we’d love and greatly appreciate any donations. At such an important time in history, we believe it’s crucial now more than ever to amplify AAPI voices and be able to continue the momentum in the future.
