<div>My name is Erik Aguilar. My mother and stepfather were recently taken by ICE while they were on their way to get breakfast for our family. Without warning, my younger siblings were left behind — my 16-year-old brother and my 9-year-old sister — and I am now doing everything I can to care for them as their older brother.

<div>Right now, my biggest priority is keeping my siblings safe, together, and in our current home. I am hoping to gain guardianship of them, but in the meantime, we are facing the stress of paying rent, bills, food, and other basic needs on our own.
