<div>Many of you don't know, but two years ago my husband Josh and I lost our home after it flooded and incurred mold damage, which our landlord was unwilling to repair. When we tried to get the city involved, he terminated our month-to-month lease. Thinking it would be a temporary solution, we checked in to the cheapest motel that would allow our dog Beast Boy to stay as well. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of staying there, we became trapped and dependent on our vehicle to do our delivery jobs just to stay afloat. This worked fine for us until recently, when we were unable to renew the plates on our car due to a costly timing chain problem, rendering us unable to drive it. We are asking for help to cover the costs of our "home" for the month of December at the motel for us and our dog, Beast Boy, while we both attempt to get hourly employment that we can either walk or take the bus to. We also need help eventually to find an inexpensive car so we can get around if we need to.

<div> The funds we raise will go directly toward covering the cost of our motel stay, ensuring that we, and Beast Boy, have a safe place to sleep while we work to get back on our feet. Every dollar helps us stay together and off the street as we navigate this challenging time. We are doing everything we can to find new employment and rebuild, but we need a little extra support to make it through the next few weeks.
