Guide Dogs of America is one of the official charities of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. And, you can make a difference!
A guide dog helps blind and visually impaired individuals with increased independence, mobility, and trusted companionship.
The cost to sponsor a puppy is $5,000. Because Guide Dogs of America DOES NOT receive any state, local, or government funding, it’s up to volunteers and donors to help raise money.
That’s why, with the support of our members, we will be able to sponsor a guide dog puppy!
We are seeking all donations, large or small. And with each donation, Water and Power Community Credit Union will match it (up to $2,500). If we exceed our goal, we could even sponsor a second guide dog puppy!
