HIDDEN HISTORY OF AFRIKAN WOMEN EXHIBITION
Warm Pan Afrikan Greetings!
The Moyo Pan Afrikan Solidarity Centre promotes awareness and disseminates knowledge and information on the wealthy legacy of global Afrikan history, heritage, arts & culture. As part of our cultural education program on Afrika's contribution to world history & human development, we produced an international exhibition on the HIDDEN HISTORY OF AFRIKAN WOMEN.
The exhibition explores diverse
patterns of organising, tells our
story of resistance and highlights
the global contributions of women
of Afrikan origin.
We utilise a multidisciplinary approach
to convey the rich and powerful history of Afrika. Our Hidden History Exhibition is unique. Over the years it has been on loan in the UK and also travelled internationally.
However, due to wear and tear from constant use and exposure to the elements, our exhibition needs urgent repair and preservation.
The Mission:
It is our mission to preserve this invaluable piece of cultural heritage
for posterity and archiving.
The exhibition is a culmination
of hard work and dedication to our
cause and our compelling story.
The Project:
Shipping the exhibition from the UK to Nigeria is a costly endeavour but one that is essential for the preservation of our cultural heritage. Our team will work to assess the damage, carry out necessary repairs and ensure that the exhibition is stored in conditions to prevent further deterioration.
How You Can Help:
Your generous donations will go directly towards covering the shipping costs from the UK to Nigeria, repair materials, storage and other expenses associated with this project. Your contributions will allow us preserve Afrika's important history and take it back home to the Continent.
We thank you for your generosity and commitment to preserving our global history and heritage.
