No Lock Doors is a Minneapolis nonprofit corporation fiscally sponsored by Minneapolis MADDADS, with the mission of shifting the culture! We empower disadvantaged youth to become self-sufficient through business and the arts.

We have been working within the Twin Cities since 2015.  Over the course of our time in youth development we have had some great accomplishments! We reach nearly 100 youth annually and understand that we have what the youth want with our full-immersion, youth-led, paid approach. We understand how to really shift the culture.
 
We developed a youth cohort called Southside Ambassador Youth, who helped lobby for the passing of both the Tobacco 21 and Menthol restrictions implemented throughout Minneapolis. We also partnered with a number of organization to develop after school and summer youth programs. However our most successful youth initiative to date is Grammy Family U!


Grammy Family U is an all year around teen program  crash course into executive -level business, entrepreneurship, music & music business and leadership training.  GFU was developed in 2017 as a partnership with Jerry Gamble Boys & Girls Club and has gotten more effective by the year!

Grammy Family U youth are essentially independent recording artist equipped to handle every aspect of their careers from songwriting to brand development. Our youth do everything, they book venues for live performances,manufacture their own merchandise and even distribute music globally. They even own 50% of our t-shirt business!


We have done majority of this work with our own blood, sweat and tears, well not literally blood but we put our own money and time into refining this program and continuously working to provide the highest quality learning experience for each youth.  

Now we need some help shifting the culture.  We are currently fundraising to continue to improve our efforts and extend our reach.  Covid-19 has slowed a lot of our approaches down and to bridge the gap and get teens busy and off the streets we need assistance.
