<div>Help Us Save the Sanctuary and Start Again

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In 2019, my husband and I opened our rescue and sanctuary with one goal: to give animals a safe place when no one else would. Since then, we’ve saved hundreds of lives — finding homes for the adoptable, and providing lifelong sanctuary for the unadoptable and the forgotten.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But behind the scenes, the last few years have been some of the hardest of my life. In April 2023, my husband moved across the country to Oregon, promising to buy a home for us there. I waited, but months later, on November 4th, I got the call that shattered me — my mom had stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I scrambled to find someone to care for the farm, and a friend's daughter stepped up to cover for me so I could be with my mom in her final weeks. On January 8, 2024, my beautiful mother passed away. Just 19 days later, I lost my best friend, Bill “Smiley,” to cancer too. When I came back to the farm, I was drowning in grief.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I tried to lean on my husband, even visiting him in Oregon that March, but our marriage unraveled. On October 19, 2024 — just four days before my birthday — he called to tell me he wanted a divorce.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Through all of this loss, the animals kept me going. They gave me purpose when I felt like giving up. I promised them safety, and I’ve kept that promise, no matter what it cost. But the truth is: <strong>this farm is not sustainable for one person.</strong> I’ve cashed out retirement, maxed credit, taken loans, and worked endlessly — but no matter how hard I try, I can’t get ahead. The economy has hit my businesses hard, and I simply cannot make enough to stay here.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have held on as long as I could, hoping for the economy to rebound while I rebuild my businesses and credit score. But it’s time to face reality: The economy is getting worse, and we are very close to losing everything. Simply put, there is nowhere for the animals to go. So many rescues and sanctuaries are closing their doors, and the rest are full and cannot take on the animals that we have committed to here. So I need to move closer to family and friends in Pennsylvania, where I’ll finally have a support system and volunteers ready to step in. <strong>The animals will move with me — every single one of them.</strong> They are my responsibility, my family, and my promise.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This fundraiser will:

</div>

<div>✅ Help cover the bills here while we search for a smaller, more sustainable farmette in Pennsylvania

</div>

<div>✅ Support the move so the animals stay safe through the transition

</div>

<div>✅ And, with the ultimate miracle goal, allow us to buy the new farm outright — a forever home the bank can never take away.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We have saved hundreds of lives since 2019. There is still so much work to be done. And with your help, we can keep going — giving sanctuary to the animals who need us most, and continuing to partner with rescues in the South to move at-risk animals into loving homes up North. The animals cannot afford to lose yet another lifeline. <strong>And I cannot afford to lose them.</strong> They are my life and my purpose. And I have given everything to make this work.

<div> Every donation matters.

</div>

<div> If you can’t give, please share our story.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Together, we can make sure these animals aren’t forgotten — and help us find the new beginning we so desperately need.

</div>

</div>

<div>Thank you for reading and sharing my story, and for any help you are able to give.
