As we come out of the holidays and we all struggle to make sense of this pandemic, I send out only positive thoughts and wishes for you and your families. All of us are affected by this situation in similar and sometimes profoundly different ways. We have had people close to us contract the virus, and tragically, we have had someone close to us succumb to and pass away from Covid. I truly hope you and everyone you know are healthy and staying safe.
In addition to our physical health and well being, this situation is taking a toll on businesses large and small across our nation and in our towns. One business, one historic institution really, right here in Kenmore has fallen on very hard times. The Cozy Inn tavern is on the precipice of closing its doors forever. As they struggle to survive the changes in restrictions and safety measures and despite the noble financial efforts of the owner, it has become clear that without help, they will lose the financial battle.
I know many of us have great history and great stories in relation to The Cozy Inn. Whether experienced by you personally, or related to you by your parents or even grandparents, the stories and experiences always seem to bring a smile
The Cozy Inn tavern has been an iconic, stalwart, family run gathering spot since 1937. A one of a kind gem that always welcomes everyone, regardless of background or stature.
On the surface, yes it is simply a tavern, yet in the scheme of life, community and human connectedness, it is so much more.

All monies collected will go straight to the bills due and survival of the Cozy. No monies will go to an owners salary.
