My name is<strong> Ariana Rosado Fernández </strong>(from San Juan, Puerto Rico) and I'm honored to vouch for, and share, the story of a <strong>young couple from Gaza, Palestine</strong>, and <strong>their first-born, Youseff </strong>who, as many of you can already imagine, are going through <strong>the most arduous period</strong> of their lives: the <strong>displacement</strong>, <strong>genocide</strong> and <strong>starvation</strong> that has been ongoing for <strong>almost three years. </strong>

<div>It has now been a year since I've been in contact with Tariq and Iman, who I've spoken to via videocall and audios.

<div>Before the war, <strong>Tariq</strong> and <strong>Iman </strong>led normal, healthy lives. That all changed once displaced with<strong> no roof over their heads</strong> and <strong>no easy access to basis necessities</strong> like food, water, clothing, medicine <strong>nor milk or diapers for baby Youseff. </strong>

<div><strong>Time is of the essence for survival</strong>, and time continues to pass by: Youseff has already taken his first steps in their tent, robbed of his toys, safety and infant life.
