Help Us Save Our Sweet Boy Snoopy With an Urgent MRI

Hi everyone, My name is Jessica, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of our beloved dog, Snoopy. A gentle, loving soul who’s always been full of life, tail wags, and cuddles. Over the past week, his health has taken a sudden turn for the worst. He began crying out in pain whenever we touched him, lost his balance, had muscle spasms, and could no longer lift his head. He hasn’t been able to walk on his own, and we’ve been helping him up every time he needs to move. Despite giving him the medications he needs and multiple vet visits, we still don’t have answers and his condition remains the same. After seeing a neurologist, we were told he may have meningitis, a neurological inflammatory disease, or even a brain tumour, both of which require urgent MRI imaging to properly diagnose and begin the right treatment. This is the only way to determine what’s happening inside his brain or spine and to give him a real chance at recovery. We are currently giving him prednisone to hopefully stabilize his condition but until we get the right procedure done we won't know what he has. We’ve already spent over $1000 on emergency care, diagnostics, medications, and specialist visits. Unfortunately, the MRI alone costs between $3500 to upwards $6000, and that’s beyond what we can manage on our own right now. As much as it pains us to ask, we are turning to our friends, family, and anyone who can help, even the smallest amount means the world to us. Snoopy is not just a pet, he’s our family, our emotional support, and our best friend. He still fights to eat, to cuddle, and to stay close to us and we know he’s not ready to give up. We’re not either. We've already lost 3 of our family pets this past year from old age and it pains us to think of having to put our 4th one down so soon.
