Help us save our farm and our dream to help others

We are Team Diversity.

We are a farm in Norway, dedicated to helping animals and people in need.

We are a place where everyone is welcome, where everything is accepted, as long as it is done out of love and good intentions.

We started rehabilitating horses a few years ago. Whether neglect or lack of knowledge, these horses were on their last leg, so to speak. We brought them into our home and helped them, then re-homed them, and some have stayed as part of our extending family.

We started out in a small stable at a family members house, and did what we could with the space we had. In February of 2020, we had an opportunity to purchase a farm with potential that would help our dream come true.

An acquaintance helped us secure the funding for the place, and we have since transformed it from run down to a beautiful haven for animals, and people. We built our dream stable, and our horses have a beautiful outside area with a big indoor area, a perfect environment! We have done changes in the house and around the property also.

It's been blood, sweat and tears, but it is so worth it when you have a dream! The dream is to help animals in need, rehabilitate, and rehome them to a loving family. We also want to help people by allowing them to connect with the animals, learning the true importance of the balance between the physical and psychological issues for a happy animal, which is also important for us people. We believe that humans and animals can help each other grow as a team and bloom with a new start at life, together.

This place is built on pure love and passion for what we do. We are blessed with friends and family that have been helping us with all our projects, and cheering us on. Everyone left part of their hearts here, and everyone that visits always talks about the good energy of this place.

Right now we have come to what feels like a dead end, where everything fell apart, financially. The acquaintance that helped us fund this place is now withdrawing, and demanding the money back. We trusted the wrong person. We are up over our heads on loan in the bank, since in Norway you cannot exceed 85% of what the property is of value. This leaves us at a point of risking to sell the farm, and the animals. Everything we have worked on, and are still working on, will be gone. So will the horses we have given a home to, as well a dog,  cats, rabbits and a guinea pig.

So, we are now calling for help, since we have been spending the last few months just trying to get by and talking to different banks, and other opportunities to pay this person back, but with no luck. The worst part of this is that we have not been able to take in any more animals in need, since the budget won’t let us, and also our surplus energy have been on a critical low because of this dark cloud haunting us.

GoFundMe and the loving, giving people on the site is our last hope. All other avenues have been exhausted. This crossroad feels like a dead end, but deep down we know this is rather a new beginning. As unbearable as it feels, as heartbreaking as it is, there is always a lesson to be learned.

Life will not give you more than you can handle, but sometimes it is hard to swallow. We have stumbled too long in the dark, trying to find solutions to please all parts. Trying to look for sunlight when there was only rain. Now its our turn to raise our voices and ask the world to believe in our dream like we do, and help us back on our feet to be able to continue our adventure towards a better life for many.

Thank you for reading and your consideration. If you want to learn more about us please check out our instagram: teamd1vers1ty or Team Diversity on Facebook. We also have a YouTube channel which we did a couple of vlogs at the beginning of the year. We will be more active with spreading awarness and sharing our experiences, but this year have been a crazy one for sure. If you feel it in your heart to help us, help animals and people, it is very much appreciated.

For our American friends that may want to help, the exchange rate is 1 US Dollar to 8,98 norwegian kroner. The total amount is about 112 000 US dollars. Thank you again for your consideration!

We will update this page as things happen. Alternatively, you can see the IG, FB, and YT content. Thank you again!

God Bless.
