Hi everyone!

update 11/23/25: It is with a heavy heart that we must say Mondos state had worsened over night and he was not responding well to treatment. Normally cats who take the treatment show improvement within 24 hours. Mondo passed peacefully and knowing he was loved. Mondo was the sweetest till the end even at the hospital. We still have to pay for the treatments we got him, but we will have a lowered goal. Thank you everyone.

Mondo Gecko is a 3 month old kitten who was adopted from the animal shelter! He's super energetic, playful, and loves cuddling with people!

However, just earlier this week (11/21/2025) we noticed him limping from his back left leg and took him straight to the emergency vet to find out what was wrong. After the x-rays and tests the vets noticed nothing abnormal or wrong with him on paper, so they sent us to a neurologist to get him the care he needs.

Once there, we were faced with the hard financial decision of continuing his care and getting him MRIs and additional tests to be able to diagnose him.

The current diagnosis theory is FIP or a mutation of feline coronavirus. This will require treatments estimated at $3,000-4,000 not including tests we have already paid for. Research shows that young felines who get the treatment get better. Please help us save Mondo. He's a part of the family; We want to keep loving him and to be able to have more time with him.

We miss the lil guy and want Mr. Mondo to come back home healthy♡
