<div>A giant bike ride, a gigantic cycling relay, from COP30 (Brazil) to COP31 (Türkiye ). An international citizens initiative to stress the relevance and potential of cycling as a powerful means to reduce transport related CO2 emissions.

<div><strong>What are we doing?</strong>
</div>
<div>We are giving a voice to all cyclists or want to be cyclists, in order to give everyone safer infrastructures.
</div>
<div>- In our bags we carry ten concrete proposals, ready to be implemented.
</div>
<div>- On our way from Belém to Antalya, we will meet dozens of elected representatives to choose 3 actions to promote cycling.
</div>
<div>✍️ They will sign an engagement letter that will be brought to the representatives at the COP31, whom we will ask to do the same.
</div>

<div><strong>Why did we choose cycling ?</strong>
</div>
<div>24% of the worldwide carbon footprint is from transport ✈ (Source: AIE, 2021).
</div>
<div>75% of travels in cities are below 3km and 42% of deliveries could be done in cargo bike.
</div>

<div>➡️ The opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint through biking are huge !

<div><strong>Other biking benefits ✨ :</strong>

<div>➡️ Health : -10% risk of cardiovascular disease, -30% risk for type 2 diabetes, -30% risk of death by cancer (WHO).
</div>
<div>➡️ Social cost : Cities could save up to €400 billion/year by adopting a cycle network like Copenhagen (DeutschlandFunk Nova).
</div>
<div>➡️ Productivity : Cyclists have up to 12% lower risk of sick leave, with 4.5 fewer days absent per year (European Commission).

<div><strong>Why do we need your help ? </strong>
</div>
<div>After receiving the banner from the crossing of the Atlantic, European cyclists will get to COP31 overland and will need a contribution to the relatively expensive accommodation in Antalya! The more money we collect, the more riders will be able to stay at the COP31 venue.

<div>Finally, there are many other collective expenses to enhance the project as a whole, such as on the documentary we are producing each year that needs to meet certain quality standards in order to be screened to a wider audience and have a bigger impact.
