As you will be aware from recent social media and press coverage recently, our beloved Astro pitch, a vital space for sports and community activities, was subjected to mindless vandalism caused by fireworks. The damage is extensive, and we are now faced with significant repair costs to restore it to its former glory.

<div>The Astro pitch is more than just a football pitch it’s a place where friendships are forged, skills are developed, and our community comes together to enjoy sports and recreation. It serves as a hub for our youth teams for training and games, schools and families, and losing access to this has had a huge impact on hundreds of kids who use this pitch 7 days a week.
