<div>We are among those affected by the terrible flooding in Valencia, Spain, on October 29. Our house, or at least what's left of it, lies at the epicenter of this catastrophe and was severely damaged by the flash flood caused by the 'Dana'. A torrent of toxic mud violently invaded our house, quickly reaching a frightening height of two meters, leaving us very little time to seek shelter. My husband, our autistic child and I were trapped inside with our three cats. Fortunately, we were all unharmed but lost everything we had worked so hard for. That's why we're appealing for your help to renovate our home and replace our lost possessions. All contributions are welcome!

<div>Since moving to Valencia four years ago, we've been gradually rebuilding our lives. Sadly, the mud washed away the entire contents of our kitchen, study, bedroom, bathroom and living room. Doors and windows were destroyed by the water pressure, cracking the wall tiles. We'll have to live without hot water or heating for months. We've also lost our Montessori garden and our library full of teaching and art therapy materials, including an old piano.

<div>We are resilient and determined to rebuild our lives, just as we did when we renovated this old Valencian house to meet our child's needs. Your donations, whatever they may be, will help us to overcome this new ordeal that life has thrown at us and to make our house more resistant to future floods, as well as replacing essential appliances and furniture.

<div>Bonjour, nous faisons partie des sinistrés victimes de la terrible inondation qui a eu lieu à Valence, en Espagne, le 29 octobre dernier. Notre maison, ou du moins ce qu’il en reste, se trouve à l’épicentre de cette catastrophe et a été gravement endommagée par cette crue éclair causée par la ‘Dana'. Un torrent de boue toxique a violemment envahi notre maison, atteignant rapidement une hauteur effrayante de deux mètres, nous laissant très peu de temps pour nous mettre à l'abri. Mon mari, notre enfant autiste et moi-même étions piégés à l’intérieur avec nos trois chats. Heureusement, nous sommes tous sains et saufs, mais avons perdu tout le fruit de notre dur labeur. C’est pour cela que nous faisons appel à votre aide pour rénover notre maison et remplacer nos biens perdus. Toute contribution est la bienvenue !

<div>Depuis notre emménagement dans cette zone de Valence où nous nous étions installés depuis quatre ans, nous avions reconstruit une nouvelle vie petit à petit. Hélas, la boue a emporté tout le contenu de notre cuisine, bureau, chambre, salle de bain et salon. Les portes et fenêtres ont été détruites par la pression de l’eau, fissurant les carreaux des sols et des murs. Nous allons devoir vivre sans eau chaude ni chauffage pendant des mois. Nous avons également perdu notre jardin Montessori et notre bibliothèque remplie de matériel pédagogique et d’art-thérapie, y compris un vieux piano.

<div>Hola, nos contamos entre los afectados por las terribles inundaciones ocurridas en Valencia, España, el 29 de octubre. Nuestra casa, o al menos lo que queda de ella, está en el epicentro de este desastre y ha sufrido graves daños por esta inundación repentina provocada por la «Dana». Un torrente de lodo tóxico invadió violentamente nuestra casa, alcanzando rápidamente la aterradora altura de dos metros, dejándonos muy poco tiempo para buscar refugio. Mi marido, nuestro hijo autista y yo quedamos atrapados dentro con nuestros tres gatos. Afortunadamente, todos salimos ilesos, pero perdimos todo nuestro duro trabajo. Por eso pedimos tu ayuda para renovar nuestra casa y reponer nuestras posesiones perdidas. ¡Cualquier contribución es bienvenida!

<div>Desde que nos trasladamos a Valencia hace cuatro años, hemos ido reconstruyendo poco a poco nuestras vidas. Por desgracia, el barro arrasó todo lo que teníamos en la cocina, el despacho, el dormitorio, el cuarto de baño y el salón. La presión del agua destruyó puertas y ventanas, y agrietó las baldosas de las paredes. Tendremos que vivir sin agua caliente ni calefacción durante meses. También hemos perdido nuestro jardín Montessori y nuestra biblioteca llena de material didáctico y de arteterapia, incluido un viejo piano.

<div>Helft uns, unser Haus nach einer verheerenden Flut wieder aufzubauen!

<div>Hallo, wir gehören zu den Menschen, die am 29. Oktober von der verheerenden Flutkatastrophe in Valencia, Spanien, betroffen sind. Unser Haus, oder zumindest das, was davon übrig geblieben ist, befindet sich im Epizentrum dieser Katastrophe und wurde durch diese Sturtzflut, die von der 'Dana' verursacht wurde, schwer beschädigt. Ein giftiger Schlammstrom drang gewaltsam in unser Haus ein und erreichte schnell eine beängstigende Höhe von zwei Metern, sodass uns nur wenig Zeit blieb, um uns in Sicherheit zu bringen. Mein Mann, unser autistisches Kind und ich waren mit unseren drei Katzen im Inneren gefangen. Glücklicherweise sind wir alle in Sicherheit, haben aber die Früchte unserer harten Arbeit verloren. Deshalb bitten wir euch um eure Hilfe, um unser Haus zu renovieren und unser verlorenes Hab und Gut zu ersetzen. Jeder Beitrag ist willkommen!

<div>Seit unserem Umzug in die Gegend von Valencia, wo wir uns vor vier Jahren niedergelassen hatten, hatten wir uns Schritt für Schritt ein neues Leben aufgebaut. Leider hat der Schlamm den gesamten Inhalt unserer Küche, unseres Büros, Schlafzimmers, Badezimmers und Wohnzimmers weggespült. Türen und Fenster wurden durch den Druck des Wassers zerstört, wodurch die Fliesen in den Wänden Risse bekamen. Wir werden monatelang ohne warmes Wasser und Heizung auskommen müssen. Wir haben auch unseren Montessori-Garten und unsere Bibliothek voller Lehr- und Kunsttherapiematerialien, einschließlich eines alten Klaviers, verloren.

<div>Wir sind widerstandsfähig und bereit, unser Leben wieder aufzubauen, so wie wir es getan haben, als wir dieses alte valencianische Haus renoviert haben, um alle Bedürfnisse unseres Kindes zu erfüllen.
