<div>My name is Abdallah Mohammed, one of six siblings.

<div>Before this war on Gaza &amp; under the siege, we were living in bad conditions as electricty was only a couple of hours a day and clean drinkable water was hard to come by but at least we had salty water to shower and cook. And as most Gazan residents, our income was unbelievably low, but we were managing just fine. My father worked very hard and managed to build a block of units with 4 of his siblings, and we lived comfortably there for 20+ years. He spent most of his life savings on building our unit and invested every penny he had leftovers into our education ( me and my siblings), hoping that one day we would have a better life. Now, I am a newly graduated doctor with no future or hope as our lives have become a living hell since october 7th. Our house got bombed and we've been homeless since then. We were displaced under fire, and now we're living in extremely bad conditions in a tent with no food, no clean water, no electricity, and no safety. My sister ( who is also a doctor and was serving during the war) had to give birth under these extreme conditions and spent her postpartum in a school where she shares a bathroom with 700+ people and has to stand in line for 5+ hours a day to use that bathroom.

<div>We have never imagined being homeless or under similar condition. We worked very hard to build everything we had. losing our home is making us lose hope in humanity or recovery. My parents planned, hoped, and worked toward a better future for our family, and this war killed every last bit of hope we had. What I am trying to do here is to give my parents' a hand rebuilding our home, for them to spend the rest of their life with a roof over their heads and hopefully a bit of electricity and water to survive.
