<div>The fire left many of our homes completely black and filled with toxic smoke. We lost so much — not just furniture and clothes, but our safe space.

<div>Since then, it has been a very hard and complicated journey. The support we’ve received so far has been minimal, and many of us are now left trying to cover everything on our own – from temporary shelter to food, clean clothes, and basic living items.

<div>We don’t know what will be replaced and what won’t – and the process is long, unclear and exhausting. What we do know is: we can’t get through this alone.
